Maki Moves a performing tribal fusion artist recently relocated to NYC from Japan, strongly versed in hip-hop, salsa, bellydance and other styles teams up with Natalie Nazario a Modern Egyptian Belly Dancer from Puerto Rico also recently based in New York City. Natalie changes all traditional conceptions of bellydancegiving it a unique splendor and elegance while Maki brings years of experience andeadership from japan’s Hermes Dance Company and around the world.

Students will bring the dramatic effects of intent, emphasis and hesitation throughsimple and complex combinations of articulate movements, facial expression, levels,hair tosses, spins, posses and much more to make their choreography the mostvaluable, strong and expressive part of their dance while mastering essential nuancesthat give character and meaning to their performance.

Slow, sensual, snake-like bellydance moves, and precise controlled contractionswith pop and lock. Learn the basic elements of Tribal Fusion Belly Dance, increaseyour dance vocabulary, and refine your technique.
